Parco Sempione

Situated between Arco della Pace and Castello Sforzesco, Parco Sempione is the largest park in Milan. It is a favourite for joggers, cyclists and weekend strollers.

There is also a great children's area nearest to the Arena, complete with climbing frames, slides, swings, roller-skating rink, a mini train and mini car racing piste for small children. The park also has two volley-ball/basketball courts and one court exclusively for basketball.

There are two snack bars and a number of kiosks spread around the park where you can get refreshments and snacks.

The park also houses the Biblioteco del Parco (Public Library) and the Acquario Civico ( the Acquarium).

The park can be accessed from via Pagano, via Bertoni, Piazza Castello, viale Elvizia, viale Milton, viale Gladio, viale Alemagna and viale Legnano.
