Founded in 1886, the Scuola Germanica di Milano offers a bilingual education to children aged 3 to 18. The curriculum is approved by both the Italian and German governments, therefore students can continue their studies at university in either Italy or Germany.I have Italian friends who send their children here and are very happy.

Situated in the centre of Milan, the Swiss School has 360 students from different countries, aged 2 1/2 upwards. Lessons are held in German and Italian, while English, Latin, French, Spanish and Ancient Greek are taught further up the school. The school is also recognised by the Italian authorities, so children can move across into the Italian system should they wish to do so.
