This amazing indoor climbing gym in the Mecenate area offers group and individual climbing lessons to both adults and children at all levels. Lessons can also be arranged in the great outdoors with Alpine Guides.Rock Spot also offers a great alternative for birthday parties. For 1.5 hours children, assisted by instructors, can climb. As well as running a bi-lingual nursery and English courses, Il Nano Gigante (or "the Giant Gnome") has a 1600m2 indoor playground which is a great place to host your child's birthday party or simply to go and play. Children love the bouncy castles and play area complete with tubes and obstacles. There is also an area for smaller children (0-5), which is complete with an Arabian castle full of plastic balls and a tree surrounded by crash mats the children can climb on. Il Nano Gigante can also organise themed parties for your children and supply refreshments, which makes parents' lives that little bit easier (see website for prices and details). The English courses are available for 3 to 16 year olds. On 24 January 2013,  MUBA, the Children's Museum, opened its doors in Rotonda della Besana. Muba alla Rotonda will be the permanent centre and reference point for all the cultural and artistic projects being organised for children and families in this 1200 square metre space surrounded by a wonderful garden which is open to the general public. The events calendar envisages exhibitions as well as a wide range of workshops and projects aimed and encouraging the creativity of the museum's little visitors. The Museum is also home to the REMIDA cultural project, which was set-up in 1966 in Reggio Emilia and can now be found in 18 centres worldwide. Formerly it was at the Idroscalo. REMIDA is a new way to think about the environment, by allowing children to use discarded materials from industrial processes and transform them into precious, creative objects. Large boxes filled with various materials (paper, cardboard, ceramic, wood, cloth, plastic, rubber, metal, leather etc) are on offer for families and children to play with for one and a half hours and see what they can create.MUBA also offers a number of services for families, such as holiday campuses and birthday parties where the birthday girl/boy can choose a specific workshop or visit the current exhibition to celebrate with his/her friends. Inside the Rotonda you will find a book shop which sells an assortment of books and toys, as well as the Rotonda Bistro' cafĂ© which has a special menu for kids.MUBA is for children aged 2 to 11 years old.  Forza e Coraggio offers a wide range of sporting actitivities for children and adults such as tennis, fencing, volleyball, kung-fu, gymnastics (male and female), boxing, athlectics and football. Some courses take children as young as 3 years old (gymnastics), although please check out Forza e Coraggio's website for further details. Sports summer courses are also organised by the people at Forza e Coraggio, as well as football themed birthday parties.

Miele's 1500m2 spacious and colourful premises offer children and parents alike a wonderful place to play and relax together, seven days a week. Miele has an indoor play area, complete with slides, coloured balls, tubes, tricycles and pedal cars, as well as two swimming pools, 20metres and 10 metres, which are used for children and baby swimming courses or private parties. Parents can enjoy a snack, drink or lunch at the bar while they are waiting. Miele also has an amazing party event room with black and white murals which can be rented for children's or adult's parties or events.
